Speaking Engagements and Seminars
Tony Zampella speaks on topics that inspire the human condition in the workplace. Mr. Zampella is sought-after for his ability to integrate vast amounts of material in an elegant and inspired manner. Using assessments, multi-media presentations, and real-life scenarios, his seminars present accessible research and researchers to bring participants the most relevant and innovative thinking on each topic. Each of these seminars include the following topics:
1-Enhance E-Literacy in Our Digital Age
We express much of our presence at work through written communication. And, in many instances, we disempower ourselves. We leave out important requests; fail to acknowledge important concerns; or simply dismiss details that dismantle our credibility. The result: we work harder and exert more effort — just to catch up.
In this workshop, participants will work with Zampella and his colleague, Brady Uselman, Ph.D, to increase their E-Literacy in order to communicate effectively and express themselves well in any digital form. Whether text messages, e-mail, or attachments, you can eliminate unnecessary mistakes and reduce effort. You will learn to simplify digital communication by clarifying essential details that engender commitment, while empowering action, and inspiring confidence in every interaction.
Benefits of this two-day workshop include an experiential learning process that promises to increase awareness and develop new skillsets, while engaging two private coaching sessions.
Each participant will increase their E-Literacy, by acquiring reading and writing skills to:
- Build and Strengthen Relationships
- Generate Committment from others
- Forward Action and Cause results
- Establish Credibility.
2-Servant Leadership in a Digital World
In today’s workplaces, "customer service" seems a relic. We have replaced most human interaction with technology, and what's left occurs to clients as incompetent or uncaring. Everyone is overwhelmed, and service and time are at a premium.
Tony Zampella has explored the integration of leadership and learning that generates the commitment to impeccable service. Certified in Appreciate Inquiry, Tony creates new ways to learn, listen and lead to inspire extraordinary service.
The servant leader generates commitment and trust without control, fear or the need for authority, serving from wherever they are in an organization. In this workshop, we explore the range of communication and technological challenges that impede us from providing excellent service. In a phrase, we transform sales talk into service walk.
This seminar includes the following videos:
- Focus on Fred Epstein (ABC Nightline);
- Love and Profit by James Autry.
3-Authentic Trust, Communications and Power:
As an openly gay man, who grew up in an immigrant family, Tony Zampella has distinguished and integrated many facets of the human condition. He served as the youngest Human Relations Commissioner for the City of San Diego (1993-97), and is certified in Open Space Technology, a methodology used to unleash creative ideas in organizational environments.
In this workshop, Tony will connect disparate elements that can cultivate trust and power through communications. Participants will transcend conventional ways of thinking about power and communications, and appreciate new ways to empower others through cultivating trust. We will learn practices to support us in creating an environment that encourages and empowers everyone’s contribution.
This seminar includes the following videos:
- Leadership and the New Sciences (Margaret Weatley).
- Interview with Ben Zander (60 minutes).
4-Shift from STUCK to PLAY:
Using the work from “Who Moved My Cheese?” we explore fixed paradigms and patterns of thinking, and our identification with the comfortable and familiar. This workshop provides essential tools and practices for moving forward in the face of uncertainty, and breaking our limiting thinking patterns that trap us. We learn to handle life when “being stuck” shows up.
We’ll discover that the key to momentum and change is to create a fun and easy way to play and experiment with learning as a normal and natural part of your job and your life.
This seminar includes the following videos:
- Who Moved My Cheese?
- Interview with Ben Zander (60 minutes).
5-Wellness at work:
Increase awareness, identify approaches and create practices for increasing fulfillment and satisfaction at work. Integration includes these four dimensions of the human condition: Physical activity; Emotional intelligence; Mental focus; and Spiritual connection. These topics, rarely discussed together at work, develop the fullness of human potential and create the conditions for ongoing development.
This seminar includes the following videos:
- Emotional Intelligence; (Research by Daniel Goleman):
- Focus on SAS: The Royal Treatment at Work (60 Minutes).
